Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16.07.2026
This policy has been prepared to inform you about the cookies and similar technologies used on FindAntalya. It explains the types of cookies used, their purposes, their retention periods, their relationship with third parties and how you can manage your preferences. Most importantly: no non-essential cookie or third-party code is executed unless you give explicit permission.
1. Data controller
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, your personal data is processed by the following person acting as data controller.
Data controller: Serkan Dinç
Brand: FindAntalya
Website: findantalya.com
Data controller e-mail (KVKK requests): serkan@serkandinc.com
General contact: hello@findantalya.com

2. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved to your device through your browser when you visit a website. They may be used to make the site work properly, maintain your session, remember your preferences and — where you give permission — carry out measurement.
In addition to cookies, technologies such as local storage (localStorage), session storage and pixels may also be used. The term "cookie" in this policy also covers those technologies to the extent applicable.
3. For which purposes do we use cookies?
- To keep the site running securely and without interruption
- To keep your session open when you sign in
- To remember your language preference
- To record your cookie consent preferences
- To store your favourite businesses on your device
- To measure and improve how the site is used, where you have given explicit consent
- To measure advertising and campaign performance where you have given explicit consent
- To prevent fraudulent use and automated traffic
4. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies: These are essential to the core functions of the site and are used for purposes such as sessions, security and storing your cookie preference. No explicit consent is required for these cookies and they cannot be switched off.
Functional and preference cookies: These allow personal settings such as your language preference and your favourites to be remembered. The site works without them, but some conveniences are lost.
Performance and analytics cookies: These measure how pages are used, which content attracts interest and where problems occur. Google Analytics is used for this purpose and runs only with your explicit consent.
Advertising and marketing cookies: These are used to measure the effectiveness of advertisements and conversions; they run only with your explicit consent.
Third-party cookies: Advertising and measurement providers may place their own cookies. Non-essential third-party code is never loaded without your permission.
5. Cookies used
The table below shows the cookies actually used on FindAntalya. Analytics and advertising cookies are created only when you give the relevant permission; if you do not, they are not written to your browser.

| _ga | Google (Google Analytics) | Performance and analytics | Distinguishes visitors from one another; measures site usage | 2 years |
| _ga_<property ID> | Google (Google Analytics) | Performance and analytics | Stores session state (specific to the GA4 property) | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google (Google Ads) | Advertising / Marketing | Attribution of advertising conversions | Approximately 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta | Advertising / Marketing | Advertising and conversion measurement | Approximately 90 days |
| findantalya_favorites | FindAntalya (local storage) | Functional | Stores your favourite businesses on your device; not sent to the server | Until you delete it |
6. Legal grounds for processing
Data obtained through strictly necessary cookies is processed on the basis of the processing conditions set out in the KVKK, for the purposes of operating the site, delivering the service you have expressly requested, ensuring security and protecting legitimate interests.
Non-essential cookies used for functional, analytics and advertising purposes rely solely on your explicit consent. Continuing to visit the site, scrolling the page or remaining silent does not on its own constitute consent.
7. Giving and withdrawing explicit consent
In the cookie panel shown on your first visit to the site, three options are presented on the same screen: "Accept All", "Reject Non-Essential" and "Manage Preferences". Non-essential categories are unticked by default; they do not run unless you enable them.
- Using "Manage Preferences" you can give permission separately for the functional, analytics and advertising categories.
- You can change or fully withdraw your decision at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
- When you withdraw advertising consent, the relevant cookies (_gcl_au, _fbp) are deleted from your device and the related code stops loading.
- Withdrawal of explicit consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
8. Cookie retention periods
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period stated in the table above and automatically expire once that period ends. Cookies are not stored for longer than is necessary for their purposes.
9. Transfer of personal data
Data obtained through cookies is shared only where necessary to provide the relevant service. For analytics cookies the recipient is Google (Google Analytics); for advertising cookies the recipients are Google (Google Ads) and Meta. As those providers are established abroad, a transfer abroad may take place if you give permission. If you do not give permission, no data is sent to those providers.
For more detail, please see the sections on sharing and transfer abroad in the Privacy Policy.
10. Managing cookies through your browser
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings, or set different preferences for specific sites. If you block cookies entirely, some features such as sessions, sign-in, language preference and favourites may not work properly.
Browser settings operate independently of the choices you make in the FindAntalya cookie panel.
11. Your rights as a data subject
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the following rights. You may send your requests to serkan@serkandinc.com.
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information about the processing if your personal data has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
- Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data is transferred
- Request rectification if the data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
- Request erasure or destruction of the data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law
- Request that rectification, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred
- Object to an outcome to your detriment arising from the analysis of the processed data solely by automated systems
- Claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing
12. Use by children
FindAntalya is intended for a general audience. Should a feature requiring the processing of children's personal data be offered, age-appropriate information, the consent of a parent or legal guardian and the necessary security measures will be applied.
13. Updates to this policy
This policy may be amended in the event of changes in legislation, the launch of new services, changes to the technologies used or updates to cookie providers. The cookie list is also updated whenever a new service is added. The current version is always published on this page.
